Great Hotels launches ’10 Unforgettable Birthdays for 10 Unforgettable Years’ competition

Great Hotels of the World (http://www.ghotw.com), the London-based hotel sales and marketing alliance, will soon be celebrating its tenth birthday. To commemorate this milestone they have launched a brand new competition. For ‘10 Unforgettable Birthdays for 10 Unforgettable Years’ they will ask entrants to send in details of the most memorable birthday they have experienced while on their travels.
The lucky winner will receive a five night stay for two at South Iceland’s top resort, Hotel Ranga, (http://www.ghotw.com/hotel-ranga) declared the best place on earth to witness the Northern Lights by The Sunday Times Travel Magazine. The prize will include accommodation in a deluxe room with views of stunning volcanoes and glaciers, sumptuous daily breakfast, one four-course gourmet dinner for two at Hotel Ranga’s gourmet restaurant, Restaurant 4, and a free rental car from MyCar car rental with GPS navigation system included.
To win, entrants have to submit a short story, telling Great Hotels of the World what made their birthday an unforgettable one whilst on their travels. Entries should be 100 words or less, detailing where they were and what made it a special birthday. Competition entries can be submitted by emailing competition@ghotw.com. Great Hotels of the World will then pick 10 lucky finalists whose entries will feature on the Great Hotels website. The public will then vote for the winner.
