GDS and IDS connectivity
Great Hotels of the World provides hotels with a leading system to connect directly to the world's major GDS (Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus and Worldspan) as well as 1,700 hotel booking websites (including Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz and Opodo) through the
evolution
Demand Manager. This means that our member-hotels can be booked by over 600,000 travel agents worldwide, as well as the millions of business travellers who book through the internet.
We assist hotels in loading all contracted corporate rates (including consortia, TMCs and direct contracts) into the GDS systems and ensure that the rates are bookable at all times. We have also developed a strategy to target the unmanaged business traveller to book our hotels.
Great Hotels Rewards
Great Hotels Rewards is the first meaningful, global, points-based hotel loyalty programme. The programme provides guests with recognition, value and a reward to encourage loyalty at not only your hotel but also all member hotels worldwide.
For corporate travellers, collecting points when travelling is an attractive incentive, as the points earned for business travel can be used for holidays. Loyalty card customers make up the highest proportion of guests at hard-brand hotels. It is impossible for independent hotels to gain a piece of this market without joining Great Hotels Rewards.

evolution's suite of e-commerce tools, is revolutionary in design, functionality and usability for both hotel and guest. For example, hotels can load corporate negotiated rates into the booking engine, allowing guests from those companies to book special rates directly with the hotel.
