Corporate sales representation
Great Hotels of the World's corporate sales team has over 20 years of experience in the travel industry, and a thorough knowledge and experience in the business travel market. Our sales professionals work the international market to identify and secure key contracts within the corporate sector, with travel management companies and immensely influential global consortia for our member hotels.
As a chain code we have special relationships with many consortia and travel management companies that give us access to key decision-makers. This also provides us with useful account information, market intelligence, inclusion in the RFP and solicitation process, and additional sales activities and initiatives to guarantee exposure to the market and corporate travel bookers for our brand and individual hotels.
Centralised RFP solicitation
We advise and assist hotels in submitting RFP bids via Lanyon to the appropriate consortia programmes that will provide the best return on investment to the hotels. Upon acceptance into a programme we ensure rates are bookable (via our exclusive rate-checking tool), and work proactively throughout the market to generate business to hotels using these rates and channels to ensure maximum reservations.
Trade shows and manager meetings
GHOTW participates in the major corporate exhibitions and trade shows (ie Business Travel Show - UK and Germany, and NBTA in USA), which we extend to member hotels at a reduced participation fee. We are well represented at industry conferences and associations such as the Association of Corporate Travel Executives, Institute of Travel Managers and other key events that will gain exposure for our brand, form relationships with key travel buyers and help identify leads for our member hotels.
In addition to attending organised shows we also conduct our own promotional events for corporate buyers, including road shows, familiarisation trips, customised sales missions and corporate events and entertainment. From time to time hotels will have a chance to participate in these events at a special discounted rate.
