Free venue-finding service
The close relationships that we enjoy with meetings and incentive buyers mean we generate high volumes of qualified RFPs, which we pass on to our hotels. Always acting on your behalf, our team of coordinators will ensure that the requests are converted into business. Each lead is worth on average €60,000 to the hotel and we generate roughly 120 leads per month - meaning that each property averages €200,000 in meetings revenue from this service per year.
Website booking engine
Great Hotels of the World has developed a booking tool which makes taking reservations via your website easy - both for you and the guest. This booking engine, part of evolution's suite of e-commerce tools, is revolutionary in design, functionality and usability. For example, hotels can load negotiated group rates into the booking engine, allowing guests from that group to book special rates directly with the hotel. This saves the hotel money - and the staff time.
GDS and IDS connectivity
Great Hotels of the World provides hotels with a leading platform to connect directly to the world's major GDS (Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus and Worldspan) as well as 1,700 hotel booking websites (including Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz and Opodo) through the evolution Demand Manager. This means that our member-hotels can be booked by over 600,000 travel agents worldwide along with the millions of travellers who book hotels over the internet. The internet is now the preferred resource for researching venues and accommodation for meeting planners.
